When Water Flows
The second book in the series I illustrated for Penguin is When Water Flows, a children’s book that explores the water cycle through tender and playful prose, blending Spanish words, and highlighting the importance of water in our habitat
It was a long and intense project, like all picture books. Aida’s words gave me great inspiration, and the guidance of Penguin editor María Elias helped the story come to life and find its colors.
Drawing a loving grandmother touched my heart. Long live grandmothers, and long live pure, wild water in the world.
